Miel Coffee Co. is a gourmet, mobile espresso bar ensuring every guest receives their favorite morning fix. Founded on an eternal love for coffee, we aim to bring the coffee shop experience to venues across the DC region—complete with cozy vibes, a welcoming ambiance, and a rotating menu of seasonal concoctions.
Founder Alyviah Martin savored her first cup of coffee at age eight, and was immediately drawn to the aroma, taste, and warm, cozy feelings of mug-in-hand mornings. Inheriting her love of coffee from her mom, her tastes grew from classic (coffee with cream) to curious, exploring every innovative blend coffee shops had to offer. While living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she tried her first miel oatmilk latte, which ultimately became our namesake. Meaning honey in Spanish and French, the miel latte is a blend of honey and cinnamon, and now holds a permanent place on our menu.
Inspired by her new signature brew, Alyviah sought to spread her love of specialty coffee. Today, we serve five-digit crowds with the same, individualized experience you’d expect from your neighborhood coffee shop. With homemade syrups, imaginative flavors, and three coffee carts in our arsenal, we find genuine joy in serving each guest’s preferred pour.
